Happy New Year!
Nanaumi (5 years)
"It has been 8 months since I started going to
kindergarten. I am sleepy every morning but I still get up. I will
try to complete (do) a sharp uchimata this year (good technique
for uchimata)."
Mami (3 years)
"I will do everything I want to do. I need nothing as long
as I have ice cream."
Taiyo (1 year 7 months)
"I will throw my sisters this year. I will eat a lot to
become bigger than my father."
Location: Kashima Jingu,
celebrating the festival day for children age 7, 5, 3 (shieni-go-san).

Ashai Yoko (wife)
"I will workout hard this year, and
I hope to lose weight. I will try not to
fight with my children. I will try to be a gentle (good) mother to
them."
Asahi Dai (husband - 108kg)
"My resolution every year is to lose
weight, but I have been gaining more weight
instead. This year, I want to try various (many) things. I will
continue to try hard this year so the children don't beat me (at
Judo)."
